Thirsty Thursday

Tonight I am headed to the Huntsville Stars game for Thirsty Thursday. I wanted to share a few things before I go. Today I spent the day running errands and getting my hair done. I took a day off from going to the schools and delivering my information.
Last night Franklin and I watched the movie SECRETARIAT and cooked honey chicken. They were both wonderful. I am not a big movie person because I can't sit still long enough or fall asleep, but I really recommend this one.

Today I also went to STAPLES to get my 100 FREE "business cards." Go here to get the coupon.
You could use this offer to make regular business cards, enclosure cards, or even just cards with your name and email address on them. They are free so take advantage. You just go to a store near you, create your cards, and they print them in about 5 minutes. You have until the 6th to do this, so hurry up. Here are mine:

I am going to use them as enclosure cards. I am sure they will come in handy around Christmas.

And last...I thought I would shrare the recipe for HONEY CHICKEN for you to try out. I served this with a salad, but it would be good with mash potatoes or both. :) Thanks Anna!

Honey Chicken
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup melted butter
1/4 cup dijon mustard
1 t curry powder
dash of salt and pepper

Wash chicken. Place in pan. Cook on 350 degrees for 1 hour. Baste every 15 minutes if necessary.
**I used chicken tenders so they were pretty flat in the pan. The sauce covered them pretty well, so I did not have to baste. I think it would also be a good idea to make little slices in the chicken with a knife before you pour the sauce on top. That way the chicken will be nice and moist when it is ready to eat!

My COOK THIS NOT THAT book and Jillian Michael's 30 day shred dvd came in. I will keep yall updated...
